Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council investigates and considers matters relating to pastoral activity and formulates practical conclusions concerning these matter. The council is a think tank that looks to the future of the parish and recommends plans for tomorrow to the pastor. The council meets on a monthly basis.

Finance Council

The Finance Council is an advisory group of parishioners, appointed by the pastor. They offer advice on financial matters. The council is familiar with the parish’s financial situation; in light of this information, the council offers suggestions and reviews the annual financial statement.

Parish Trustees

The Parish Community of Saint Helen is a civil corporation. The Archbishop of Newark is the President; the Vicar General is the Vice President; The Pastor is Secretary Treasurer; and there are two lay trustees appointed by the pastor. These five individuals are the corporate structure for our parish.

Holy Trinity Interparochial School Advisory Board

The Advisory Board consists of three parishioners appointed by the Pastor. The board has nine voting members, three from each parish involved with the school. It meets once a month to discuss financial matters, oversee the school’s strategic plans, and recommend policies for the school.
