Clark Shop-Rite Bakery Pick-up
Do you have an hour to spare on Friday mornings? We are in need of someone to pick up the bakery items from Shop-Rite in Clark Friday mornings around 9:45 and either take them to St. Joseph’s in Elizabeth or drop them off at St. Helen’s. - Home Visits to our parishioners who are ill and in local hospitals
- Transportation for parishioners who need assistance to their doctors, hospitals and shopping
- Church cleaning ~ light housekeeping in the church and sacristy
- Church linens ~ washing and ironing of the linens used for the liturgies at home
- Service auction ~ annually the parish hosts a service auction to benefit Helen's House. Helen's House is a home owned by the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless which our parish sponsors. Help is needed for planning the service auction which will be held October 29, 2012.
Appeal From St. Joseph’s
We are in need of full size toothpaste and toothbrushes, bars of soap, full size shampoo, deodorant, bath powder, disposable razors, hand lotion, OTC pain medications like Advil or Tylenol, nail clippers and feminine hygiene products, as well as baby food, baby cereal and formula (especially Similac Advance) and all sizes of diapers, especially large. Bring these items to St. Joseph's any day, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or Saturday from 9:00 am to 1 pm.
