Holy Trinity Interparochial School in Westfield proudly announces the achievement of Blue Ribbon status by the U.S. Department of Education. This marks the sign of excellence and high achieving students. From among 413 nominated schools across the country, 304 received this recognition among public and private schools with grades between K and 12. Our school will be be honored at an awards ceremony in Washington DC in November.
The honor comes to 255 public and 49 private schools based on two criteria: 1) Schools whose students are high performing. Holy Trinity Interparochial School scored at the highest performance level on nationally normed tests; 2) Schools with at least 40 percent of their students from disadvantaged backgrounds that improve student performance to high levels.
We will receive a plaque and flag to signify its Blue Ribbon Status at the ceremony. These schools serve as models for other schools throughout the nation and details of their achievements are shared by the U.S. Department of Education.
